FUN is the first word that comes to mind for our designer with this particular kitchen remodel. The goal was to reconfigure the u-shaped kitchen to an open I-shaped layout to offer an island with more seating. By raising a dropped ceiling and removing a wall separating the kitchen and dining room it created a breath of fresh air.
Meanwhile adding additional pantry storage, glass storage and universal counter space for a working desk or buffet when entertaining. The addition of recessed can lights, under cabinet lighting and pendant lighting add the finishing touches to this lovely kitchen.
Fun designer Fact* She enjoys looking for ways to add seating to more than one side of an island, so it makes for more natural conversation space.
This project included painted white cabinets, raised panel detail, Vicostone Serra quartz, polished with matching backsplash, a built-in desk, Kohler sink, LG Appliances, Delta faucet, Milgard window, Engineered hardwood flooring.
